my family made it! After a 14 hour (two day) car ride they arrived on Saturday afternoon to spend the next 6 days with us. We celebrated my sister’s birthday on Saturday and gave her a kindle for her birthday. I love paper books, like obsess over them- smell them but after seeing her kindle it made me want one to have BOTH. paper books and technology books!
Sunday we woke up and enjoyed pancakes, bacon, juice and played outside while everyone got ready and then we headed to Lazy 5 Ranch with everyone. As we waited in the long line to enter Issy said, ‘feeding animals in the car will not be fun.’ He gets impatient- quick! Once we pulled up and fed the first animal he said, ‘this is the most fun ever.’After driving through the trail feeding lots of animals we munched on some ice-cream and played in the park. Our Sunday ended with a cookout and playing outside until the sun set.
Today we packed a picnic and played at the park for a few hours- we are now sleepy and recuperating before taking pictures tonight. The rest of the week includes: getting wet in the sprinkler, picnics at the park, cabo fish taco, Mert’s southern food, and much much more!
